The complex is so conveniently located with Main Beach, Surfers Paradise, the Sheraton Mirage shops, Mariners Cove and Main Beach's cosmopolitan restaurant area, all within walking distance and Australia Fair Shopping Centre so nearby.

There are cinema complexes at Southport, Surfers Paradise, Mermaid Beach, Pacific Fair, Robina Town Centre and Coolangatta, as well as a "boutique" cinema house at Sanctuary Cove. Art house and mainstream movies also screen regularly at the Gold Coast Arts Centre.

If shopping is not the you, walk a few minutes to the to the white sandy beaches, that make the Gold Coast famous.

The Coast also boasts a number of smaller theme parks and attractions, such as Frozen World, Ripley's Believe it or Not!, and a range of family amusement arcades.

Australian native animals are the major attraction at Currumbin Sanctuary, which is world-famous for its lorikeet feeding. Dreamworld, with its Tiger Island exhibit and Sea World, with its Dolphin Cove, Polar Bear Display and other marine life displays, both feature animal attractions.

For gamblers Conrad Jupiters is a one-stop entertainment complex. There are live stage shows in the Las Vegas-style showroom, Fortunes Nightclub and restaurants and bars is open 24 hours a day.

Other attractions on the Coast include canal cruises, 4WD safaris, helicopter and tiger moth joyflights, hot-air balloon rides, water sports, Harley Davidson rides, mountain bike tours and bungy jumping.
